Bio

Rajpal U.Navalkar, is the Managing Director and CEO of Thermoshield India.

After completing his graduation in Chemistry from the Mumbai University, Navalkar went on to do his LLB (Hons) and DBM.

He has over Four decades of experience in varied fields including manufacture and marketing of textiles, garments, footwear, packaging, international business and from the year 2002 onwards, he has been in the Green Building movement.
This serial entrepreneur, wildlife photographer and green building pioneer, has been writing extensively on green technologies and materials for over a decade.

He is the Advisor, Science and Technology Park, Pune.under DST Govt. Of India for the past 18 years.

A Founding Member of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) , he is also spearheading the Sustainable Building Materials and Technology Centre, Pune.

.He is also the Green Consultant to 4 Net Zero Green Projects in The Maldives.
In which he is instrumental in putting up Anaerobic Reacters to treat all kinds of waste and create wealth out of that.

His WOW ( Wealth out of Waste) Statement in 2004 has resulted in many startups in the Social Economic Mode.

The first Citizen Driven Waste Reactor was setup in Tannery Road Bangalore recently. He was also Instrumental in setting up 2 waste management systems in Maldives. And Many More in India.

His Present work In Goa, in the field of Water Management, Non Conventional Energy Generation, Waste Management, Pollution Control, Sustainable Mining Practices and Social Forestry is Being Taken Note of and The Govt, Has been Submitted various Proposals.

His Vision is to create wealthy Farmers , leading to a Wealthy Agrarian Society. To this effect he has taken up promoting a new Startup called Krishi Yog, which is involved in the Farmer to Home movement. Empowering Farmers and Villages to be self sufficient.

He Recently promoted The Birsa Munda Foudation , Headed By Satish Pendam and Raju Naidu to work closely with the Tribals in the Jungles of Central India.

As Trustee of the Deccan Conservation Foundation , he is involved in the Conservation of the Deccan Grasslands and the Flora and Fauna , more so, the Indian Grey Wolf, which is facing extinction.

Alongwith Dr. Rajendra Jagdale, Director General of STP and State Innovation Council Chief, again works to take technology and Innovative products to the masses in the shortest possible time
