The Adventures of Leah and Peggy follows two sisters who travel back in time to learn about historical figures and events that aren’t typicially recognized in their school. The first book in the series highlights the significance of The Black Panther Party for Self Defense. Leah and Peggy excite readers to learn more about Huey Newton, Bobby Seale and the work of this revolutionary group of women and men.
