Bio

Vicki Richardson is the Chief Administrative Officer and Executive and Personal Assistant to Vinnie Johnson, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Piston Group LLC, headquartered in Southfield Michigan. Ms. Richardson has over 30 years of administrative experience in multiple industries including, Federal Government, Biotech, Information Technology and Automotive & Manufacturing. She achieved the Professional Administration Certification of Excellence in 2019 from the American Society of Administrative Professionals.
In her current role, Ms. Richardson works closely with the Chairman to manage both his business and personal schedules. She coordinates all property management including domestic activities for multiple properties. She works directly with the Piston Group Board of Directors and the Business Unit CEO’s to organize quarterly and special Board meetings by communicating agendas, ensuring all preparatory items are met on a timely basis including monthly company financials. Ms. Richardson works closely with a team of multiple Administrative Professionals in all Business Units facilitating commonality in process, communication and sharing of best practices. Ms. Richardson is also responsible for the coordination of sponsorships and ensuring attendance by company representatives at various business and charity events. Other major responsibilities include planning and execution of large corporate events, coordination of travel (both private and commercial) logistics, and ticket management for multiple suites and season tickets at local entertainment arenas along with other responsibilities.
In 2009 Ms. Richardson was instrumental in coordinating the establishment of the Vinnie Johnson Foundation. The Foundation was established to provide educational and cultural opportunities for the children of Detroit and surrounding areas. She has been a member of the Foundation’s Board since its inception. Ms. Richardson is solely responsible for the Foundation’s annual top fundraiser, a Golf Invitational that generates an average of $200,000 in contributions to the charity every year. She works closely with the Chairman to distribute the funds to numerous organizations within the local Detroit communities.
