Currently final year Ph.D student in Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom (MSCA-COFUND SPaRK fellowship program funded by the European Union 🇪🇺)

A graduate student with a variety of talents and achievements. She is a third culture kid who moves around a lot due to her studies (UWC 07-09, ClarkU 09-13, University of Birmingham 17-18 and PhD in Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, UK 18 - current). She received multiple fully funded scholarships for her sixth form, undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She also was an intern at Smithsonian institution in Washington DC.
She is the first autistic person from Thailand to be funded for the MSCA-COFUND by the European Union to do her Ph.D in Medicine which focuses on colorectal cancer. Additionally, she is part of the “UK coronavirus cancer monitoring project”, which looks into the effects of COVID-19 on cancer patients. More information: www.ukcoronaviruscancermonitoring.com
Outside her studies, piangfan is a disability advocate. She have a TedX talked called “We are differently-abled”. She also have an invention called 3OLVED which uses smart phone mobile application and 3D printing to help the visually impaired study STEM subjects. She has been invited to the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in 2015.
