Professional: licensed social worker with 20 plus years in child welfare- adoption focus. In addition to supervising direct practice, I train adoption assessors and supervisors. I also conduct diversity training.
Personal: I run. A lot. Sometimes far, never too fast. It’s exercise. It’s energy. It’s therapy. It’s how I’ve connected to so many great and interesting people, myself included. Distances conquered: 5k, 10k, 13.1, 26.2, 25k, 50k, 50 mile, 100k...100 miles on deck.

I think and I write far more than I prefer to speak but will quickly evacuate my comfort zone to speak up and out for domestic violence, racism, sexism, homophobia and any other social injustice. 💜✊🏿🚺🏳️🌈
