Hi kids!
I’m the creator, and showrunner, of the live action fairy tale television show, The Adventures of Snow White & Rose Red, which premiered on Amazon in 2018.
I received my B.A. from Vassar College in Film. I went on to work for such companies as the Creative Artists Agency, producer John Hart's Hart Hubbard Films, and Tristar Entertainment before embarking on a career in screenwriting. I had the good fortune to have my screenplays produced by New Line Cinema and 20th Century Fox. I also authored scripts for two children's animated features showcasing the top selling Bratz line of dolls for MGA, Livin' It Up With The Bratz and Little Bratz Party Time.
I’m currently in development on The Brothers Grimm's classic fairy tale, Twelve Dancing Princesses, which received the Palme d’Or at The Paris International Film Festival 2021 in their screenplay competition. I’m also enjoying putting together a haunted house film set in Louisiana called In A Mirror Darkly.
As Artistic Director for Saratoga Arts Fest, I conceived of and produced over a dozen immersive theatrical experiences, from Shakespeare In The Pines at SPAC to The All Hallows’ Eve Masquerades at The Canfield Casino.
I’m proud to have served on the boards of Upstate Women In Film and the Saratoga Springs International Film Festival. I’m a happy juror for The Middlebury Screenplay Competition and a member of Seven Sisters Together. Last, but not least, I am part of the Media And Film Studies faculty at Skidmore College, where I delight in teaching screenwriting and directing to my talented students.
