Uk based startup founder of health tech startup - lived life experience of mental health.

My company (NEBS Systems Ltd) is now at the pre-seed stage and looking for grant/angel funding to get the project off the ground. I am on the amazing NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Scheme which is supporting/galvanizing the project.
NEBS aims to develop a software solution to reduce the times Mental Health and Learning Disability patients are sent 100's of miles from home for care or treatment. Care close to home and family is a right, not a privilege.

I'm now retired from front line NHS patient-facing work and will return (3 days a week), in my IT Clinical Transformation Lead (MH & LD) role at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust at the end of April.

I'm experienced, dependable, energetic (ish!), Innovative and honest.
Most importantly I strive to be a compassionate clinician and human being. Life is too short to be anything else.

I have 30+ years of experience in frontline NHS service in various roles.

I have lived life experience of mental health and neurodiversity having bi-polar, anxiety, dyslexia and I'm sure a small sprinkling of ASD.
I'm currently in remission but painfully aware the Eeyore or Tigger could come back at any time.
But currently quite happy being Pooh.
Like some others, I am also a survivor of trying to take my life. (occupational hazard with Bi-polar)
