Standing up and speaking up for yourself seems something simple and it's taught from a young age in western world but what if you were never taught how to speak up or stand up for yourself to begin with only because of your gender?
In 2007, I moved from Afghanistan to the Netherlands - not for love but freedom. The freedom to choose how I wanted to live, to choose who I wanted to share my life with and to choose a career path without fear or pressure and above all to be able to speak up for myself.
I worked as a financial analyst for over a decade for large corporations. In 2018 I quite my job and started a Holistic Beauty Spa “ Beauty Essence” and launched my own brand of skincare line “SAPEDA”😊.
Not a day goes by that I dont learn or teach which is the most rewarding feeling.
