founder and ceo of au courant entertainment, a production + management company. Nancy’s background is highly eclectic. she was the lead agent at a top-tier talent chicago agency; a dramaturg at goodman theatre, and stage director for more than a decade in chicago before relocating to los angeles to serve as story editor for trigger street production’s THE BIG KAHUNA, starring kevin spacey, danny devito and peter facinelli. film critic roger ebert named KAHUNA among his top ten picks of that year. nancy and her former creative partner subsequently were given a first-look deal at devito's company, jersey films, followed by a 3-picture deal at universal studios. currently, nancy is developing a film + atelevision slate under the banner of au courant films, including a sci-fi series with mark hamill attached to star and direct, as well as the biopic based on the inspired life and work of visionary alice guy blanche, the world's first (woman) filmmaker.
