Professional experience: She has a decade of professional experience. Her career started at UNICEF then Marie Stopes Clinic (UK), which sparked her life-long interest in women’s rights, economic empowerment and human rights. She is firmly committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals & Women Empowerment Principles. Grameen Phone Ltd: She was the first women Director of GrameenPhone in 1999. Where she worked for 17 years in different senior level positions. She oversaw the eponymous women’s empowerment project which led to 8 million women becoming sustainable through mobile phone literacy (village phone project) in GrameenPhone economically empowering the minority women with Dr. Yunus who won a Nobel Peace Prize. She was the Director of Customer Relations & Human Resources for Bangladesh. She worked as Director in FSUN - Foundation for the Support of the United Nations. She worked 5 years as Founding Director - Social Impact & Innovation , University of California San Diego. At present She is the CEO - Pillars 4 Dignity and Lotus Credit LLC.
She worked in several countries in Asia mainly - Thailand - Dtac, Malaysia - Digi Telecom, Pakistan, India , Bangladesh GrameenPhone Ltd and Europe including Norway - Telenor, Hungary - Panon with Telenor the state owned Norwegian Telecom giant.
