Antoine Griggs, baritone, graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia. He studied voice with tenor, Timothy Miller and was also a member of the world renowned Morehouse College Glee Club, under the direction of Dr. David E Morrow. He has had the privilege to sing with Capitol City Opera covering the small role as the customs officer in Puccini’s La Boheme. Antoine has performed numerous roles which includes Fiorello in The Barber of Seville, Albert in the production of Werther by Massenet, Frances Nurse in the production of The Crucible, and Marcello in the production of La Boheme. He has had the pleasure to perform with the Atlanta Opera Chorus in productions Romeo & Juliet, Porgy & Bess, Abduction of Seraglio, and Turandot, The Flying Dutchman, and Carmen.
Beyond his national accomplishments, Mr. Griggs has had the opportunity to participate in the Siena Summer music program in Italy. Antoine is the founder of AKG Music Studios where he teaches several genres of music from classical to contemporary and manages artists.
