A native of Chicago, now residing in Houston, K’Lecor has been performing in front of audiences since the age of five. From the age of nine through thirteen, she attended the Choir Academy, which was a fine arts school in Chicago.

K’Lecor is an independent pop & r&b artist trying to break into the pop and r&b charts. Her credits include touring in Japan, performing on the Oprah Winfrey Show, performing with Donnie McClurkin, twister, performing for Randy Jackson, and opening for Lalah Hathaway and Roy Ayers.

She received a Bachelor of Music in Music Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance with a minor in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She received her Master of Music from Georgia State University.

In 2020, K’Lecor was placed on the Official Ballot for the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards by The Recording Academy for Record Of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her single 'Surrender.'
