A disabling depression has led me to a transformative mental health journey. Standup Comedy played a vital part during the ride. It opened a window for me to see the light in life, to connect with others, and to process the trauma from my past.
Now I’m using comedy to raise awareness of Mental Health. In 2020, I founded It’s Mental Health Comedy Berlin. Currently, it includes a weekly podcast, a story slam, and a bookclub (“Lost Connections” by Johann Hari).
