At the heart of everything I do are people - and knowing that I can do work that improves people’s lives is what truly drives my heart and soul .
I started my career at research and know what it takes to make it in the fast-paced world. and how it can enhance my abilities, I developed as an analytical leader, that have always supported my decision-making abilities. I took that energy and sense of urgency and weaved it into my work in development, where I find purpose. Over the past 14 years my focus has been youth empowerment: training for employment, entrepreneurship, art and culture ,philosophy (my thing ) coaching and more recently a focus on transformation and change management in the business arena as a mentor ,trainer and consultant ,I am very grateful and consider myself particularly lucky to do this work. To support people and that I am able to transfer my knowledge and experience to help others in need.

My former boss once sat me down to brief me on a task and told me “It’s urgent: Don’t do it with love, just do it fast.” That is when it hit me, I work with love, that is the only way I know how to do what I do. This is what makes me attentive to detail and perhaps a bit of a perfectionist, however I knew what he meant , he wanted an agile leader and that’s how I developed , so now I can say that my mind heart and soul are working in harmony .
In 2011, I have had the opportunity to establish Tahrir lounge in Cairo, Egypt. During that time, I have an amazing team, my team was driven, collaborative, supportive and proactive. I am especially proud of this achievement: to have inspired, motivated, and supported the team to become great doers.
I am an approachable leader with an open mind and an open-door policy. I am an active listener and a creative problem solver – and while people appreciate the space I allow for discussion, I do not shy away from making difficult decisions. I know my priorities and always have the best interest of my organization in mind.
My role requires me to create, build and maintain diverse strategic partnerships. We work closely with governments ,the private sector, and local community-based organizations. While these partnerships vary greatly, I can comfortably say I navigate them wisely.

Outside of work,I am a wife and a mother of 2 amazing daughters and I enjoy all things we do together reading, art , dancing , cooking , traveling
