Maternal Child Health is my JAM!! and I am on a mission to increase the number of Black + Brown IBCLCs in your community. I am dedicated to increasing Black breastfeeding rates while reducing Black infant mortality through representation in the lactation field. Black infants are healthier when cared for by Black physicians research shows which includes lactation. With over 18k IBCLCs in the US only 2% are of color and less than 1% of those m are Black. WTF?!?! Join over 1k aspiring lactation professionals of color for guidance on what an IBCLC is and how to start your journey as a lactation professional of color.
