I help corporate sales teams sell more and better deals with story-work - that’s story listening, story triggering and storytelling.

Back in 2011 when I was head of APAC sales at Nokia, I was with one of our Malaysian account directors in the board room of a major Telco. I remember trying to kick my guy under the table as he sprouted abstract claims and technical features (premature elaboration, we call it). Our buyer had no clue what he was talking about and no reason to listen.

I realised I had been doing that mental ‘under the table kicking’ for too long and in too many industries.

That’s when I resolved to try and fix this universal problem with seller conversations.

In 2018 I wrote ‘Seven Stories Every Salesperson Must Tell’ and today I help sales teams from some of the world’s largest companies to engage more naturally (companies like SAP, Adobe, Allianz, Generali, AMEX and SalesForce).
