About Doralis Ruiz
“If you aren't brimming with excitement after viewing a property, you should keep looking,” advises RESF Realtor® Doralis Ruiz, who specializes in pool homes and luxury condos in Brickell and Coral Gables, as well as investment properties in South Florida that can be licensed for Airbnb. “Home is where you feel most at peace,” she says. “Don't settle for less.”
Armed with an AS in Human Services from Miami Dade College, a Certification in Human Resource Management from Florida International University’s College of Business, and a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) degree from Nova Southeastern University, Doralis originally embarked on a career in HR before discovering that her true passion lay in the world of real estate.
Though born in New York City, she considers herself a child of Miami. A Cuban-American fluent in English and Spanish, she has always felt a deep connection to South Florida’s major metropolitan area with its savory international cuisine, eclectic music and art scenes, trendy nightlife, and rich cultural diversity. She considers herself blessed to have been able to raise her own family in Miami and, as a single mother, is keenly aware of the value of self-sufficiency and how the right home contributes to that success.
Away from the office, Doralis works to bring the community together by volunteering with the United Way Worldwide, a nonprofit that fights for people’s health, education, and financial stability in nearly 1,800 communities around the world. She has also worked with Friends for Global Change in hurricane relief efforts for Texas and the Caribbean, assisted the Jackson Health Foundation to raise funds for infants in the NICU, and helped Kiwanis of Little Havana distribute boxes of food donated by Farm Share to Floridians impacted by Covid-occasioned unemployment.
“Knowing the client’s specific needs and learning what ‘home’ means to them are the keys to a successful search and a smooth transaction,” Doralis concludes. Her in-depth understanding of the culture and needs of Miami's residents makes her a popular choice for discerning domestic and international buyers and sellers.
