Another thing is childhood indoctrination of any idea/ideology/concept that expressly commands a person not to think beyond it is dangerous. A child, right from 4 years until whatever time, say teenage, is forced to learn his parents religion without any chance of retrospective thinking. The child is made to learn it, accept it, take pride in it, glorify it and rejoice at it. Soon he comes to the idea that this word of God whatever it might be, has to be spread and broadcasted so as to save all those unfortunate souls who were born into the family which followed the "wrong" religion.

Blind faith decapitates a persons' thinking and reasoning capacity, makes him accept any good or evil thing ( even if it was believed to be done by God ) as justified, and that it was the will of God. It could even be a genocide, but a filthy reason such as "My God did it, so it was good!" will be employed by him.
