The other day my bf told me I was a lil funny so I’m doing a lil standup too😏

♥️It was a little white church sitting on a hill in NE DC and there I was 5yrs old and standing on stage (as scared as I could be), holding a mic that felt as big as me. I Grasped it with both my little hands and sang my heart out. I remember it so vividly. I was scared, terrified in fact, but it felt like that's where I was supposed to be. It felt like home to me. It's funny how you can feel fear and excitement all at the same time. That was me and I was just beginning to find my way. Well it's been a while since that day but those feelings have never gone away. I am a storyteller and the stage is my home, it's the place where I am most free and it keeps calling me.

🔴A trained stage, film and TV actress with over 20 years of experience.  Most recently I wrote and produced a one-woman comedic short,” Miss Gloria’s Life Advice” which was featured in the View Park Collective film festival to great enthusiasm and interest.  As a stage actress, I have had the privilege of entertaining audiences in more than 20 off-Broadway and regional theatre productions in both New York, and the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.
✨A few notable productions.. The Laundry Room and A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry. Also a featured player in the New York based Afrikan Women’s Repertory for five years. 

💥A few TV and film credits include a recurring role in the Emmy Award Winning Daytime TV drama, “One Life to Live”.  With a walk on role for NBC’s “The Office” as well as a small role in the HBO Special starring Queen Latifa, “Life Support”.


🌟As a Conscious Creator I believe my expertise lies in creating funny, yet highly nuanced characters with depth and soul.  I Am an actress, comedian, writer and producer(well that’s relative) who aims to bring out both the humor and humanity to every character I bring to the stage and screen.
