Bio

Full-time: Publishing Director at VOXATL.org, a youth development non-profit where I am mentoring Atlanta teens on self-expression, journalism, content creation and community leadership and facilitation.

Part-time: Co-host of the Day 1 Radio podcast where I interview recording artists, inventors and all kinds of iconic and emerging personalities.

Overtime: Co-host of Hip Hop Trivia ATL (now completely virtual) where I educate and entertain the world on Hip Hop culture and history.

All-the-time: Co-author of “The Art Behind the Tape,” the first ever book to document Hip Hop Mixtape history. Writer published and featured in NPR, Billboard, Black Enterprise, Creative Loafing, XXL, VIBE, OZONE, RIDES, SCRATCH, MTV and a couple of VH1 documentaries. Past brand work with Jack Daniels, Coors Light, HIGHSNOBIETY, Reebok, Team Epiphany and others. Bio writer-for-hire. Also an HBCU (Fort Valley State Univ.) grad, runner, sneaker lover and craft beer drinker who often laughs at his own jokes.
