I am Marta Musa, a British Columbia (Canada) based Multidisciplinary Disabled Artist. I work in variety of mediums (photography, encaustic, mixed media, illustrations, printmaking etc) with a personal art practice that focuses on the health and wellbeing benefits of creativity.
My initial foray into creativity involved the use of photography. It became a tool to balance the demands of my previous career as a Critical Care RN, with the need for self care. Of recent, my multi-disciplinary creativity practice has become a way to cope with the challenges of living with an Acquired and Disabling Brain Injury I fondly refers to as "Bertha".
