Bio

My name is Mark Balog and I am the Managing Partner of Balog & Associate, an accounting firm based in Melville, NY.

One of the areas we specialize in is called “Matrimonial Accounting.”

What that means is my firm can take of advantage of things under the tax laws to save you time, money and put other resources back in your pocket.

Like many of my clients, I too went through a divorce so I can both sympathize and empathize with what they are going through.

It was because of that experience I went through several Matrimonial training programs and became certified as:
Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA)
Trained Divorce Mediator
Trained As An Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce Specialist

My goal for everyone who walks through the door is to protect their finances and educate them how their money can work best for them.

When you are going through a divorce, you run the risk of having a lot of exposure, meaning, the money you think you are walking away with somehow disappears.
