My story starts in Nicaragua, a beautiful country with a turbulent history of war and extreme poverty. In 1985, my mother fled Nicaragua in the midst of war and took me and my little sisters on a journey into the unknown. My obsession with creating beauty stems from this traumatic event. As the oldest sister of six girls and raised by a strong grandmother and mother, I learned to work with women, appreciating their struggle and see their true beauty in all their emotions and phases in life. My work serves me as a great channel for healing and I am extremely grateful that I get to share that healing journey with the world.
