After political science in the Netherlands, working in film marketing in Paris, back to Brussels to make and sell films.
🐡 I founded Hors du bocal, an international film sales company defending independent and self-produced films with ambition. We want to bring out of the fish bowl - out of the box narratives and put them into the spotlight ✨
We support emerging filmmakers and believe that creative brilliance knows no productional bounds, and every film deserves a chance to shine!
We are aware that not everyone starts on an equal footing in art due to structural disparities, especially in terms of film school education, networking opportunities, and subsequent production access. We consider that diversity, inclusion and representation come also from stories that defy convention, being out of the box or 'Hors du bocal' as it means in French 'Out of the Fishbowl'.
