Leveraging expertise developed at a company that’s continuously recognized as one of the 100 best companies to work for in the U.S., she has a flair for identifying, recruiting and training top performers. With a deep understanding of the support and tools that a sales organization needs, she develops incentive plans and trains staff to elevate their skills.
Lisa grew up in Chicago’s northern suburbs, leaving to attend Michigan State University. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in communications and interned with the global public relations agency Hill & Knowlton as well as The White House press office. After graduation, she moved to the Washington, D.C. area and held a variety of sales and marketing roles.
Upon joining American Express in 1994, Lisa was rapidly promoted, rising to become Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Business Development in 2015, where she created the company’s first-ever global salesforce, transforming country-specific efforts into a unified salesforce across 200 markets and territories. Her team achieved $5 billion in annual charge volume in its third year.
