Born and raised in Royal Aberdeenshire, Scotland, I moved to New York in 2004 to study acting before starting a career in marketing, branding and public relations.

Following my growing passion for skin and beauty, I began a big career change 5 years ago and now work with some of the worlds most photographed celebrities to prep their skin for their work in front of the camera and appearances on the red carpet.

Notable mentions include working with Allison Janney, Olivia Colman and Laura Dern for the Oscars the year they won.

I also devised a skincare system and treatment protocol for Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham-Carter for the filming of ‘The Crown’ and for Laura Linney and Julia Garner for ‘Ozark,’ both Netflix originals.

In 2020, I established my own podcast entitled “What Say You? With Gavin McLeod-Valentine,” discussing the passions, purpose and people important to my notable guests.
