Bio

Born in Wilmington, DE, Lil Novek grew up with a strong musical influence. Although none of his family members are in the music industry, his father and mother has always exposed him to music. Whether it was old school R&B or Rap, music has been a big part of Lil Novek’s life from the time he was born. His ability to write his own lyrics and drive to create a different sound than other artist has landed Lil Novek’s music on all music streaming platforms that include Youtube, Itunes, and Iheart radio, just to name a few.
Lil Novek started his career when he was just 10 years old with Christiana Cultural Arts Center Hear Under the Hoodie Program. In 2018, under the leadership of rapper and community Activist, Richard Raw, Lil Novek and his peers recorded three songs titled Poverty, Black Lives Matter, and Kuuba. This same year, he also recorded his first single entitled Shout out. Since the beginning of his career, Lil Novek has recorded songs touching on the topics his future (I can go to college), his love for his music (Ceiling), and current events of the world (Had to Live).
When asked about his musical influences, Lil Novek stated that he was influenced by artists such as Speaker Knockers, NBA Young Boi, Rod Wave, and Lil Uzi Vert. Currently, Lil Novek his working with DJ Lazy K, and has been featured on DJ Lazy K dopemix vol. 299 and vol. 230. Lil Novek has performed for the Summer in the Parks program in Wilmington, DE, at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, and the Richard Raws album release party. He has opened up for Recording Artist Jrell. Currently, he is in the studio working on his first mix tape, and promoting his first album, 12 to Mars.
