I am a self-diagnosed dyslexic with ADHD. I unknowingly married a fellow dyslexic and we have raised four children, three of them are also diagnosed with dyslexia and all four have a total of eight neurodiversities. 

In 2009 I was working as a Realtor when the need to help my children and that paved the way for the beginning of my homeschooling journey.

I began tutoring my second youngest son, unexpectedly while we were living in Texas. The following year, our family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and I began homeschooling my two youngest children, the youngest has severe dyslexia and profound dyscalculia and it quickly became apparent that I needed to homeschool him differently than I originally intended. This led me to learn to use an Orton-Gillingham-based program and incorporate multisensory activities into our day. Within no time his son was learning to read. After helping two of my own kids learn, I inadvertently began helping others with the same struggles.

Today, I focus on training my staff of tutors to use Orton-Gillingham and multi-sensory techniques, coaching parents to confidently homeschool their children and speaking out publicly in order to increase awareness and help families experience harmony.  It is a passion of mine to give back and help close the gap by volunteering time to at-risk youths who have dyslexia. ​As a dyslexic, I desire to inspire more people like me to thrive rather than just survive.
