Growing up with immigrant parents (a mother from 🇨🇴 and a stepfather from 🇵🇰) in Queens and Brooklyn, 🗽 meant that I had a pretty strict upbringing. 😆
However, it also nurtured my interest and passion for learning languages. 🗺
I grew up speaking Spanish at home and studied it extensively throughout high school, college and after graduation. 👩🎓
