When we don’t heal our trauma it gets handed down to our family lineage causing further pain. My complex trauma included: sexual abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse, neglect, starvation, sexual assault with a deadly weapon, attempted kidnapping, and discrimination in the workplace. What we experience is not what defines us; that is a choice! I choose to lead with unconditional love, compassion, gratitude, and kindness.
