LayD Carter to most but Ateea Carter to some, was born and raised in Rockford, IL and is now hot on the air in Orlando, FL. I got started in the industry back in 2008 as an event planner. Ive planned concerts, mixtape release parties, weddings, birthday parties, graduation parties, and even divorce parties. During my early years I was an intern for CTE working for Young Jezzy and Dj Farenheit. Since moving to Florida I was the Co-Host on the This Is Where Its At show that aired live in Orlando, FL Mondays at 11pm on 91.5 FM on WPRK, and on several different syndicated stations all
over the United States. I also hosted
a segment on THISISWHEREITSAT.net entitled On Carters Corner which features indie artist from all over.

I am now a host on Its A Vibe which airs on FleetDJRadio

Since coming into the industry I’ve been making a footprint for myself. I’m helping to bring awareness to Domestic Violence as well as Breast Cancer during the month of October. Since joining the Fleet DJs, Ive also been nominated for Dj Rookie of the year, had State of the Year twice and continued to move up the ranks to become the now General Manager of the Fleet Djs.
