My name is Koriambanya Carew and I go by Kori. I am a lifelong learner, status quo disruptor, I like asking questions, am a bookworm, nerd, political analysis junkie, and I miss the courtroom and trial work. I use my lifelong experiences, legal training, gifts and talents to cultivate belonging, equip others to disrupt problematic paradigms that lead to inequity and injustice, and to do my little part to make an impact.

I’ve been told my eyes light up when I see the light bulb go on for others. I know the feedback I enjoy most is when I learn of things people are doing to be better and inclusive leaders because of something I taught them. Practicing authenticity and courage are important to me. I am a teacher at heart, more introverted than most realize, love bourbon and wine, good food, and sun and warmth. I bring widely diverse people together around food and drink. I’m raising two amazing, fierce, smart, strong willed girls with my husband of 20 years.
