Kola Olugbodi is Africa's leading background check expert, and the author of the intriguing and life changing book “Through It All: Memoir Of My Many Trials & Triumphs”. The book captures some of the challenges he was faced with from childhood till adulthood and how he surmounted them.

He currently serves as the CEO of Background Check International (BCI), Nigeria’s first exclusive and broad spectrum background check organization.

He recently received the Marketing Edge Magazines award for the Outstanding Background Check Brand Personality of the Decade.

He is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Association of African Professional Background Screeners.

Kola is a Professional Researcher and a 1988 graduate of Demography & Social Statistics of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

Kola is also:

o A former Co-Chairman, African Outreach of National Associational of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS), USA.

o Advisory Board Member of the International Due Diligence Association (IDDA) USA

o An alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), US Dept. Of State, USA

Kola is a winner of several awards, some of which are the:

* PSR National Development Merit Award in the sphere of Background Checks, Screening & Verification Services.

* Kola was a Speaker at the 2018 edition of the Excellence in Leadership Conference, an annual program of the Daystar Christian Centre.
