Currently employed as a Hematologist and Oncologist at Kona Community Hospital on the Big island of Hawaii. I completed my fellowship training at the University of Vermont in the fields of Hematology and Oncology. Previously, I finished an Internal Medicine Residency at NY Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Awarded in High-Value Care, Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. Currently, I am completing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. I also hold certifications in: Plant-Based Nutrition, Yoga Instruction, Mindful-Based Stress Reduction, Meditation and am a Board Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor. Founder and President of Aloha Ayurveda a donation based nonprofit organization (registration in progress). Our mission to educate and inspire leaders in Integrative Ayurvedic Medicine with aims to bring education and therapies to our community and patients. My future goals include developing a Center for Education incorporating donation based Integrative therapies for cancer patients and the community. We will focus on the connection between Nutrition and Health and Botanical Medicine. Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic assessment of health with individualized lifestyle/healing plans.
