Founder/ED of Justice for My Sister, nonprofit in LA that provides certification in trauma-informed screenwriting/producing to TV/film professionals to transform the industry to implement anti-racist, anti-violence, gender-inclusive practices. We elevate BIPOC, LGBTQ and women filmmakers with a healing-centered approach. We’re on IG at @justice4sister.

🖤 Justice for My Sister—feature documentary about a Guatemalan woman’s determination to hold her sister’s killer accountable. (Best Documentary at LALIFF, Icaro, Movies that Matter and others. Broadcast on PBS and TeleSUR)
🖤 The SweetSpot—comedy pilot about millennials of color navigating underemployment, modern day “romance” and immigrant parental expectations. (Premiered at Outfest Fusion 2017)
🖤 Heart Swell—dramatic short about a fraught mother-daughter trip to the beach that results in inner-child healing. (In post-production)

🖤 Short film about a Latina late bloomer who learns she has magical powers when she least expects it.
🖤 Feature film script about a 13-year-old Colombian-American girl who must come to terms with feeling abandoned by God when her best friend and band mate unexpectedly dies.
