Bio

I’m the co-host of the podcast Forever35, along with my pal Doree Shafrir. We discuss all things related to wellness and self-care with a healthy does of humor and skepticism.

My memoir about grief and loss, The Dead Moms Club, was released in 2017 from Seal Press. My first novel, a romantic comedy called In a New York Minute, will be out in March 2022 from Forever/Grand Central.

My writing about parenting and pop culture can be found all over the internet. I previously worked as a Senior Editor and Producer for VH1 and did lots of celebrity interviews during my 7 years there. I have hugged Taylor Swift.

I am also a mom. I ride horses and read books.

My favorite band is Phish and I’ve seen them over 100 times since 1995.
