Bio

I’ve written for all major networks, pay cable, two studios, independents, Emmy- and Oscar-winning actors and producers. An alum of the AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women, Film Independent’s Directors Lab. Chosen from over a thousand writers chosen for the 2017 Writers Lab, sponsored by Meryl Streep & Oprah Winfrey, one of Filmmaker magazine's “25 New Faces to Watch”, WGA Feature Diversity Honoree, Millay Colony resident & NYFA grantee. Award-winning directorial debut, The Clearing, stars Titus Welliver (IFC, PBS, airlines). As Chair of the Writers Guild Activities Committee, I organize the biennial WGA Retreat, bringing members together for a weekend of master classes with exciting writers like Pamela Adlon, Vince Gilligan, Jenji Kohan, Joey Soloway & Matthew Weiner.

At 10, I told my mom that “I wanted to spend my life making the world a more beautiful place”. That launched a lifelong interest in interior design, real estate, humanitarian causes and progressive politics. Bi-coastal for last several years, bouncing between LA and the Space Coast of Florida as I helped my parents age in place. The pandemic has allowed me a much-needed pause after my parents passed. Life in transition, open to new possibilities & reigniting old passions. I still want to make the world a more beautiful place.
