Karen Tilstra wants to live in a world that free, work is fast, and chocolate is devoid of calories. She holds firm to the belief that everyone is creative with leadership potential—and she thinks the world would be a whole lot happier if everyone embraced this truth. Until that happens, she wants to help anyone who’s interested to learn how to develop their inner wellspring of creativity.

🦊Co-founded labs and developed Design Thinking teams for AdventHealth, Orlando Magic, San Diego State University, Pioneers, Seminole Country Health Department, and Orange County.

🎈Co-designed the nation’s first undergraduate degree in Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida.

🔔Along with her team, Karen has facilitated more than 510 Design Thinking projects for over thirty 37 national and international companies, hospitals, government agencies and universities.

⭐️ Earned 3 innovation awards: Des Cumings Innovation Award, Front End Innovation Design Thinking Competition, European Innovators Award.

🌲 🌊 A native Californian, Karen just completed her first book that is due out sometime next fall.

🎥 She also just finished her first screen play she co-wrote with her filmmaker son.

🐊 Currently Karen lives in Florida with her artist husband. They enjoy rustling up yearly “Art & Fun Tours” for adventurous people as they rejoice that their three 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️adult sons have launched into the world.
