When I started this club in clubhouse in January 2021, it was because I was passionate about spreading awareness, educating others and advocating for Highly Sensitive People (HSP).
But now that I have more awareness and have read books about highly unconscious masked autism in women, I can no longer carry the identity of an HSP.
I do believe HSP = AUTISM
If you are reading this and do not understand or agree with my new position on this, I encourage you to educate yourself more on MASKED AUTISM.
Read the book, Unmasking Autism by Devon Price, PhD that came out in 2022.
After learning my physical health issues are due to autistic burnout from decades of unconscious masking, I feel it is my responsibility to now raise awareness about masked autism so others have this information as it can be live saving.
Autism comorbidities are life threatening and not knowing you are actually autistic can rob you of the opportunity to fully understand yourself and treat yourself with more love and compassion (and professional care and support) as you navigate through a society and culture that disables our everyday living and life experience.
