Jon Russell Cring grew up on stage, as an Actor and 🎸 Musician, so it was no surprise when he began working in the growing independent film industry of 🎶 Nashville, Tennessee. He created an ambitious plan to make 1️⃣2️⃣ feature films in 1️⃣2️⃣ months, the ExtraOrdinary Film Project. After making 6️⃣ films in 6️⃣ months, he decided to slow down and travel the country making the remaining 6️⃣ films which took fourteen months. Jon has 🎬 Produced and/or Directed hundreds of projects from 🏆award winning narratives and documentaries, short films, 📺 television, to ✍️ writing and optioning dozens of scripts, he’s a true maverick.
⛰ Lives in the Sterling Forest just outside 🌆 NYC with his collaborator wife Tracy and two dogs. 🐶🐶
👓 Serves as a judge for several high profile Film Festivals.
