We have fixed cable, plumbing and electrical problems yet we are not your handy man
We have made your mother dinner in the middle of the night, but We are not her care giver.
We have changed your wife's tire to get her home to you, but We are not road rangers
We have kept your husband strong when he thought he was going to lose you, Yet We are not your family.
We have heard your love ones last thoughts, but We are neither a Rabbi nor priest.
We have told you we can save your child, because We meant it.
We have helped terrible people because, We are no one to judge.
We have walked through fire, leaped of the side of a building and dived in black water all in the same day, yet nothing was part of a script.
We are not Heros, nor saints. We are not devils, nor angels
We are human, We make mistakes, but we make up with it in style.
We are Fort Lauderdale fire fighters
Our job does not define us yet its definition explains who We are.
We are all brothers and sisters who stand and fall with each other.
We could have chosen a different career but why would we ever choose that option.
