Jonathan Sheinberg is a Film Producer. Jon began his career at Columbia Pictures in their advertising and publishing division and then moved to Lorimar as head of movies and mini-series from there he moved to 20th Century Fox as Director of Creative Affairs in Feature Film and then Orion Pictures as Head of Production. He worked at Warner Brothers at Lee Rich Productions and then became Senior Vice President of the William Morris Agency. As head of production at Orion Pictures Sheinberg oversaw and developed with Mike Medavoy many successful films and in many cases academy awarded films working with talented filmmakers and actors like Kevin Costner, Oliver Stone, Paul Verhoeven, Danny DeVito, Frank Oz, Susan Seidelman, Jonathan Demme, Sean Penn, Ron Shelton and Dennis Hopper.
Sheinberg launched the action career of Wesley Snipes with Passenger 57 and produced Hard to Kill starring Steven Seagal and Kelly LeBrock while he was president and producing partners with Lee Rich at Warner Brothers where he made four films in three years. Jon runs a production company, The Bubble Factory with his father, Sid and brother, Bill. The Bubble Factory has produced For Richer or Poorer with Tim Allen, Flipper with Elijah Wood and Paul Hogan, That Old Feeling with Bette Midler, McHale's Navy with Tom Arnold, The Pest with John Leguizamo, Chapter & Verse with Omari Hardwick, and Half Magic with Heather Graham. Half Magic was entirely financed by the Bubble Factory and Heather Graham wrote, directed and started in. Supporting women in film is a mandate at the Bubble Factory.
In 2015 Jonathan was honored by the Los Angeles Police Eagle and Badge Foundation. He has served on the board of the Mount San Jacinto Winter Park Authority including multiple terms as Chairman, he was appointed by both Governor Schwarzenegger and Governor Brown. He is Married to Susie Ursitti Sheinberg who is a producing partner and actress, known for her role in Teen Wolf.
