Studied direction at National School of Drama-Delhi,
School of Performing Arts-Pondicherry,
and School of Drama-Thrissur.
Received Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award(2019) for Outstanding Contribution to Malayalam theatre.
Directed over forty plays.
Won Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Awards for best play & direction three times - 1997, 2002, 2008.
Won UAE Bharat Murali Drama prize six times.
Directed second film 'Mazhayathu' and four short films.
Won Karnataka State Film Award for Best Socially Relevant Film,
