Software developer, consultant, camera lover 📷 and podcaster 🎙 on a mission to talk to more strangers!

I like to think of myself as a problem solver above all else. Nothing makes me happier than looking at a problem someone is facing and brainstorming with them.

Being a software developer and consultant gives me plenty of opportunities to do exactly that.

Obviously, there’s the techy bit as well, and I do love my toys! We use a lot of C#, Java, Angular, React, Vue, MSSQL, Postgres, etc.

I also host a podcast (gettingappsdone.com) about software development where I talk to developers about the non-technical side of development, including a lot about self-care and progression. We’re currently on a hiatus, but I’m working on content for season 3 right now!

I’ve been living in the UK for over 15 years and I’m also a naturalised citizen. As a father of three dual citizen children, we have more passports in our house than most secret agents!

p.s. I’m American not Canadian. Not that I have anything against Canadians. 😉 It just comes up... often. Apparently Brits can’t tell the difference!
