I have worked in banking, property development and FMCG. In the public sector as head of trade policy and chief trade negotiator for South Africa and also CEO of Trade and Investment South Africa. I have advised global leaders and captains of industry and large corporations on trade, investment, geopolitics and doing business in Africa.

Nelson Mandela twisted my arm into joining government. I succumbed on the third twist. Thank you Madiba.

I have been a speaker 📣 at global events like CNN Time Fortune Global Forum, UN Financing for Development, WTO, CNBC Africa investment events. Shared platforms with Bill Clinton, Desmond Tutu, Mary Robinson amongst others

Currently on a mission to change the world (plenty of room on the bus in case anyone wants to join 😉). I am designing and building cities that reimagine how we live 🤫. Cities that are sustainable, green, tech enabled, nett zero and energy efficient and basically in harmony with nature, if such a thing is possible 🤔. Care to join me?

I am working with some great people to build the greenest, smartest, most sustainable and fun city in the world in South Africa 🇿🇦. No name yet as we plan to run a global competition to name the City. For now we are calling it iZulu City (Heaven in Zulu)
