I come from Anzhero-Sudzhensk, it is a small mining town in the middle of Siberia. I liked to read Zelazny, Asimov, Herbert and PKD. I programmed MSX and ZX Spectrum in a school. I defended a PhD degree in electronic design automation on time (only 14% of graduate students go on time to defend in Russia by official statistic). Then, I read Machine, Platform, Crowd by McAfee & Brynjolfsson. So, I thought why not change to ML? My wife supported the decision. I took the Fast.AI deep learning course and so I am here! (huge thanks to Jeremy Howard for this course).

And, it is curiously, AI (of Facebook) helped me to find my wife :)
