I spent 25 years of my life playing violin 🎻 for various bands and projects in Austin, TX and Cologne, Germany. When I was growing up, I mainly played rebetiko, blues, classical and the old music from Cologne.
Growing up in a multicultural household, I ended up mixing the Greek culture with life in Cologne. Eventually, I ended up in the US for the music - first Massachusetts, then San Francisco, and now Austin, TX (for 9 years).
Due to an injury, I don’t play much violin these days, and workout 🏋️♀️ (at home) has become my fuel source during COVID 🦠
