👋 Ilana Jacqueline is a speaker, author, advocate and healthcare marketing professional.

💜 She currently serves on social innovation and recruiting at WEGO Health, a patient leader network.

📚 In 2018 New Harbinger Publications published her self- help autobiography SURVIVING AND THRIVING WITH AN INVISIBLE CHRONIC ILLNESS.

👩🏻‍💻 The story was inspired by her tell-all blog she wrote about her diagnostic odyssey with a rare disease and the advice she gives to other patients— not on how to treat or eat for their disease— but how to continue your life through the all consuming parts of it.

🧬 She’s worked for the international nonprofit Global Genes as their Managing Editor for five years, before becoming the Manager of Patient Advocacy at the health tech AI company, FDNA leading their genomics collaborative. She’s written the health beat for publications like Cosmo, Marie Claire, xoJane and The Miami Herald.

👩🏻‍💻 Her second book is a young adult novel that she’s currently querying for. 🤞
