Even though I’m color blind I've been a self-taught digital artist for 23 years and this NFT platform is the next step for me in my digital technological stream of consciousness creations. Ever since I was very young I had an image of sculpted light in my mind. I didn’t really understand what it was or what it meant. Every once in a while I would attempt to figure out a way to bring the image out of my head and into reality. My first try was in kindergarten after I had seen The Wizard of Oz. In art class I had my first exposure to finger paints and I created what others described as a "blue tornado". I was very proud of my creation though it failed to come near the image in my head. Over the years I made more attempts that paled in comparison. Ultimately technology would be my tool of choice. I’ve been a digital artist ever since. By following my heart and doing my emotional work and expressing myself, my digital art led me to the realization that I had two near death experiences as a child. This was the key that opened my whole being. I finally understood so many things about myself and this knowing helped me to start learning who I really am. This realization was like opening a huge library of information that also opened and propelled me into my creative self. My work has evolved out of technology and it’s the thread that I have followed since my humble beginning. I began photographing circuit boards and then choosing bits of color for these images to create color field imagery. That process led me to notice how similar the circuit boards resemble cityscapes. From there I created urban landscapes from these intricate map-like scenes. My obsessions with this virtual architecture lead me to manipulating real architecture. With this extensive digital history I have stumbled into the world of NFTs and I feel like I’m in my element. I am excited that my path has brought me to the NFT space. My art career has taken me through many experiences from coffee shop shows to museum exhibitions. Now I’m living the NFT life, constantly researching and learning more every day and I’m in heaven!
