Dr Helene Laurent-Oliver specialises in maternal well-being, child and adolescent mental health and transitions into adulthood.
Helene completed her masters at Oxford University and gained her doctorate from Royal Holloway University of London. Her research interests are in psychological well-being and more specifically how to set goals which enhance personal meaning and flourishing.
Since working in the NHS for over 10 years Helene has treated a number of young people suffering from anxiety, stress, panic and obsessive-compulsive disorders. She has completed specialist training in Inter-Personal Psychotherapy for depression. Helene has worked with parents to support children with behavioural or neuropsychological difficulties.
